Creeperby *Agaave

Scraps©2012-2013 *Agaave
I had extempore kiriban at 42 500 a while ago and :iconskier-skyracer: managed to catch it. So here is a little prize for her! This is her very interesting looking OC: Creeper!

Creeper has cool looking checkered fur and I was wondering how on earth I manage to color a fur with that kind of pattern but it was actually fun when I got started. Took lots of time but I am happy with the result. Yay for challenges! :D

I did also little experiment with background: I ransacked my art supplies and found out that I have few kinds of pastel crayons (from Derwent and Stabilo) and one package of thin different colored markers (fineliners from Stabilo) so I decided to test them here. Those markers were a catch: I have bought them from sale some time ago and forgot I had them. Now I can try different colored linearts instead of constant black lines! Also pastel pencils deserve way more usage than they're having now. Too bad their lovely, soft and powdery shade did not scan very well here: it blends better in the original drawing.

Do you have lots of different drawing tools but always end up using same materials picture after picture? I do that – a lot.

Ok, but now I am talking too much.
Shortly: Had fun, I hope you like. :happybounce:

Wow, that's a challenging looking creature/character you took on there. But it came out really well!
