She's so beautiful. I just love all those feathers from her little 'accident.' They add so much character. :D
The green halter goes so well with her colors. And I love how you did her eye - it looks so real and alive!

Omg my comment about those feathers sounded so smug... I meant I HOPE they will produce more stories. :XD:

Lol. It didn't sound that way to me. ^^
But either way, I hope they will indeed produce more pictures and stories! ;)

That's good to know, written texts can sometimes produce weird interpretations... whether those are meant or not. ;P
Yay for productive feathers! :dummy:

That's very true. :omg: Sometimes I write something and send it off and immediately think I could have been clearer...most of the time no problems are caused, though. :D

Thanks a lot!

Halter was definitely my favorite part to draw in this picture - lots of tiny details to tweak. :giggle:
I am also glad that I got the feather idea; they will probably produce more stories to tell and pictures to draw! ^^

This is really pretty! I always love that details and his look is so brilliant! :aww:
You´re better and better with horse faces really.
I also like that beautiful and original looking bridle!
Colouring is professional guarantee Agaave´s quallity! :giggle: As always really elegant with smooth and vibrant colours. Lovely, awesome and just great hun :aww:

I can´t wait when my eyes will be better (and get little more time) to read you story, it must be wonderfull! I really admire you write it in English even though it´s not your native language! Thumbs up for you!

Thank you very much hon! :glomp:

In this case I have to thank the reference for better looking horse face, it helped with the pose and anatomy, although this barely looks like the ref picture anymore... I always add my own twists here and there and then finally forget to look at the ref anymore. But anyway, it helped me to get started! ;P

It would be awesome if you read my story but don't feel obligated to do so. I have to warn you that I haven't wrote much so I have no idea if my story is even good or is it pain to read.
But anyway, it was fun to write it and I really feel like Favilla's story needs to be written, even if it was for my own fun. Of course it would be much easier to write in Finnish because of much wider vocabulary and understanding of style etc. but I'll take this also as a chance to improve my English skills and learn new words. ^^

References may be helpful and I am glad you don´t copy a reference (I still think it´s pretty boring to copy a photography because why the hell we have cameras? :DD) but you drew it with your own amazing style. It´s great. :3

It´s okay! I think your english skill is much higher then mine so don´t worry haha :D. I am sure you did a great job with writing this <3

I am glad to hear that the colors are not that bad on other people's screen. Maybe it was just a contrast between the original and scanned version that disturbed me in the first place. :D

My current scanner is usually quite accurate but I guess green and red in a same picture was too much to handle for the poor machine...

Woah!  Bunny Emoji-10 (Loved) [V1] This is stunning!  I love the line art - the amazing details on that tack!  Cute Emoticon Blushing The coloring and shading looks fabulous (if this is "messed up" I can't imagine how good the original must look).
The whole piece is just beautiful - I really like the layout.  Wishing Favilla all the luck (although with this piece, I think she's got in in the bag already :giggle: ).

Aww, thank you very much! :tighthug:

I am glad to hear that the colors don't look so bad on your screen; maybe it is just again the contrast between the original work and this scanned version that was bugging me. I tried to adjust colors with Gimp but without success. So let's just stick with neon colored background - I am almost used to it now. :giggle:

Tack was super fun to design and draw! I remember when I was a kid I loved drawing all kind of equipments for horses; I had bunch of self-made horse paper dolls with different tacks and saddles and other equipments. I think I found that childhood passion again with this piece! :excited: revamp... again.

Okay, self-made paperdolls were awesome!  :jumpingjacks:   My sisters and I used to sit around and do the same thing, drawing/coloring/cuting out paper horses.  We didn't know anything about tack, but we would make "riders" that could slide on and off of them and play with them for hours.  It definitely got the imagination going.  :la:

Jei, kiitos paljon! :glomp:

Invisible Pear
