I wanted to draw fast, sketchy horse but then I found myself adding detail after detail and finally drawing background too. Anatomy isn’t perfect but because this wasn’t supposed to be whole picture I think I can live with it. I hope you can too!

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. The secret of the texture is smudging lightly with large brush which has small textures. The brush I use is called "galaxy" so you can imagine what it look like: little asymmetrical dots side by side.

Actually I was thinking about clouds when I drew background but foggy ground is as good as clouds.
