This picture really got on my nerves! Anatomy is what it is and then the background failed miserably... What do you see here now is the character colored traditionally but background edited digitally so that there are no colors on it at all, only the textures from painting are showing. It looks much better now than my horrible color combination earlier but I am not 100 % satisfied. I still wanted to upload this picture because I spent so much time on it.
Ok, I got all that whining out of my chest so now to the fun part: who is this pwetty horsie in this picture! She is my brand new #Cavitto but this is not her registration picture yet. I will draw something basic "standing sideways" for it. And she has not revealed her name to me yet so also that makes registering her a bit difficult.
Do you see how she smiles there? She was supposed to look angry or at least serious in this picture (raising storm is a serious business) but well, it seems that she does what she likes (I bet she ruined the background too... just for fun!) All I know so far that she is a little mischievous creature but hoping to learn more so that I am able to do that registration in time...
Majestic stormcaller I like the colors especially the white/grey mane. It reminds me of the clouds before a thunderstorm :3 The pose is also very well done. So dynamic as if she's jumping right into the storm! And i really don't know what's worng with anatomy xD It looks very well
Thank you very much! I am glad to hear that storm aspect shows in this picture - that was exactly what I was trying to emphasize. (What comes to anatomy her neck is a bit too long and head too small but if no-one notices I try not to point it out myself...)
How did I not comment on this yet She looks gorgeous, Agaave! What a sneaky little background ruiner. Either way I think it turned out gorgeous, the gray is very stormy looking and quite nice really. Hopefully in the future she'll be less of a meanieface to draw and let you enjoy her
Thank you very much! You combined my wishes to such lovely design so it was really nice to draw her - if we don't take the background disaster into account. Hopefully ruining backgrounds doesn't become a habit for her...
Another amazing horse creature from you! I must say, I totally love your colouring here and that bg is totally awesome! I love your anatomy and expression :3 great job as always
Seriously, where do you get ideas?
I don't know, sometimes great ideas just appear but most of the time they don't so I just have to pull something from my sleeves...

I really enjoyed drawing the tail and mane - I just don't know why I always have to make them so curly...
Horse was such pleasure to color but that dang background...
I am glad it ended up lookind decent!
