Im quite proud of this piece! Lineart came out nicely and it would look awesome digitally colored. Too bad I wasnt at home when I started this picture so I didnt have any scanner or coloring program to use. Only some paper and my pencils. I didnt want to waste the job I already had done so I finished this as I started - traditionally.
I liked the color theme I used in previous picture so I ended up using the same here.
This is one of my favorites of yours by far! I love the pose, the way you made the head, and the designs all over his back are just plain awesome! My only suggestion would to give this guy a background (something light like before so it won't take away from the dragon).

The face and the head is excellent. I really like how it has a lot of detail to it. Excellent shading. Not too sure about the colours though, but I am the kind of person who thinks all dragons should be green, dark violet or dark red.
I really like the shading on the wings. The color scheme is yet again nice, I like your traditional coloring. Who needs digital? : P The facial expression the horns and the torn yellow skin around it's face makes it a lot more evil looking than the rotweiler-dragon. But I find the face a bit too flat, eh, nobody can be perfect, only near perfect : )
the actual dragon is very awesome...shading fabulous! the background is the only thing that really takes away from this piece. the background can either make or break a piece (and i'm talking from experience ) the red is a nice choice b/c it pops out the dragon, but he looks like he's just floating in air.

I'm happy with pose too, it is something different than I usually do!
I suck at backgrounds so I always try to avoid them... Maybe I should stop that and practice them more!

Bloody Hell, what a signature!
I just noticed that I don't have many dragons colored in traditional colors in my gallery... I seem to have avoided green and red for some reason.
