I decided to have a Mini Contest! All you have to do is to write a scene
! And what winner gets? I'll draw this scene she/he described. I'll pick the winner and if there are several really interesting entries I may pick more than one.
The winner is based on my personal opinion and it can be the most interesting, fascinating or beautiful entry or then it just tickles my imagination. Deadline is 19th of September
so you have four full weeks to figure out what to write. Don't take this too serious, everyone can enter! Your English doesn't have to be perfect mine isn't either. The idea behind the scene is the most important part, not spelling or grammar. THE RULES:
Comment this journal to enter. Do not send me notes with your entry.
The scene you write can be anything from few words to several sentences.
Keep your description short. Remember that I have to be able to draw one picture from it not the whole series!
You can use your own character but you must give me a link to a picture of your character. So if you're using your own character you don't have to describe its appearance (unless you want to), link is enough.
You can enter as many times as you want but every entry must be in their own comment. Do not add many scenes in one comment! ENTRY EXAMPLES:First example: Abigail
(link to character's ref sheet/picture) watched how thick fog was rising from the lake. Everything was quiet; all she heard was fireflies' wings flapping while they were dancing around her. She didn't notice big, dark creature that was approaching land from the lake, using fog as his disguise. Second example: Young, white gryphon looked down to cliff. His purple stripes were glowing slightly in moonlight. His friends had already jumped now it was his turn to take a leap and try his wings!
Feel free to ask if you have any questions!
Remember, you don't have to draw anything to enter this contest, just write!
