Travellers

decided to travel at the end of the world.
Seems that they're just at the beginning of their trip because they look so happy and haven't realized yet that the world is round and doesn't have an end...}


In this picture I used watercolor + salt explosion (thank you !Si-Hime for the phrase) and I still love the effect! But ~almaticani, *Eleweth and ~bladebandit have given me some new ideas how to work with watercolors so I may try some of them on my next backgrounds.

Instead of overusing just watercolors and salt I ended up overusing also white gel pen! I decided to add some magical white dots on wolf's fur but oh well; they don't look as magical as I wanted them to look like. They rather hide wolf's fur where I put quite much effort. White gel pen lining instead works how I planned: it separates different textures and makes characters to stand out more from busy background.
